One night in December 1980, the Italian designer Ettore Sottsas launched with his friends artists and architects a new reflection to finally finish with the conventional interiors to leave room for the human and the fantasy. This evening had launched a real color revolution in the interiors of the 80s, where asymmetry and primary colors will be the basis. Green, yellow, red and blue were installed in the various corners of the house where the exuberance of the style could seem revolutionary for some designers, but became kitsch with time. Twenty years later, the world of decoration was going backwards to calm down and hide pieces that were too daring.
