Léa's opinion on Luminis Films heat protection film
Impressive results after installation
Tired of baking under Velux windows in summer? So is our customer Léa! She tested the anti-heat film and gives us her opinion after installing it in her home.
The result: several degrees less and a real breath of fresh air in the house. Read about her experience!
Léa's problem
You may already know Léa as @decohomeby_l on social networks. A native of Tours, France, her passion for decoration and interior design has guided her towards a career as an interior designer and "Déco Coach".
Léa came to see us during the summer of 2023 because she was far too hot in her velux-equipped rooms: "It's a real furnace upstairs!" 🥵
So we helped him out by proposing Luminis Films heat-shielding films, cut to the size of his velux windows.
Equipped with a special window film installation kit, Léa managed to install her heat-shielding adhesive films herself. Every step of the installation was respected, and it shows: bubble-free installation, and a fully effective film, ready to face the summer heat! 🔥

The result after applying the heat-shielding film
Before, the inside temperature was almost identical to the outside temperature. After installing the heat-shielding film, Léa noticed a 6°C gain compared with before! ❄️
Conclusion: the outside temperature rises, and the room temperature falls much less.
Before applying the film, our customer installed a thermometer in her room. It showed 27°C outside, and 26°C inside her room. The inside temperature is almost identical to the outside temperature (1°C difference).
Once the film had been applied, Léa observed an outside temperature of 29°C, compared with 23°C inside. The difference is now 6°C! 😁
Second measurement: the thermometer indicates an outside temperature of almost 32°C, compared with 25°C inside! The meter climbs to 7°C difference! 🤩
And all without air conditioning. As well as getting more than satisfactory measurements, we met up with a delighted customer: "The heat doesn't just come in through the skylights, so we didn't magically gain 10°C, but those few degrees still make a big difference! 😀 ".
We contacted Léa again about 1 year later to get her feedback after several months' use, and she reiterated her satisfaction with the film'santi-heat effectiveness. Mission accomplished! 💪
