Detailed description

Its beautiful light beige color and its fine veining make this imitation wood decorative adhesive a must-have for decoration. It blends with all the most original colors and materials thanks to its discreet and bright finish.

You can use this beige wood adhesive anywhere you want, on a wall or even on your furniture: as a work surface it will be perfect because it is waterproof and resistant, or on a chest of drawers to give it a facelift, it is very easy to stick and is durable over time.

It almost looks like real wood with its textured finish, which further enhances the trompe l'oeil effect. Use the VO147 trowel to remove air bubbles and don't forget to clean the surface well before applying to ensure a good hold of this wood effect adhesive.

Thermoformable, this wall and furniture covering will fit on any surface, even the most curved. To do this, simply heat the film to soften it with a heat gun or hair dryer: ideal for corners!

Durability: 10 years in interior installation (anti-cracking, flaking, delamination and yellowing)

Frequently asked questions

  • How to install adhesive coating yourself?

All the steps and tips to follow can be found in our article "How to install an adhesive coating?"

  • Can I put adhesive coating on my worktop?

Yes, it's possible. Our coatings are thick, moisture-resistant and very easy to clean. There are a few precautions to take, such as using trivets. Find out more in our blog post "Can adhesive flooring be installed on a kitchen worktop?"

  • How do you know which way the pattern will go?

If your film includes a motif, we invite you to view the last image in the photo carousel.

The image explains the direction of the pattern in relation to the roll. You'll be able to enter your dimensions to have the pattern in the direction you want.

  • Can the adhesive coating be removed without damaging the furniture underneath?

You can remove the adhesive coating, but there's always a risk of damaging the surface underneath, as the adhesive is strong. Surfaces such as wallpaper or peeling paint are the most fragile.

Our tip for removing adhesive coatings:

    • Start from a corner and pull fairly firmly
    • Use a release solution to cancel out the glue's action
    • Use a heat gun: the glue will soften the film and the adhesive. The adhesive coating is much easier to remove.
  • Can adhesive coating be applied to a raised surface?

Adhesive coatings can be applied to surfaces with relief, such as certain moldings. You need to master the application and thermoforming of the film, and ensure that the relief is not too pronounced.

If you'd like to give it a try, you can test it with a free sample. Alternatively, you can call in a professional fitter.

  • Can adhesive coating be applied to tiles?

The adhesive coating can be applied to any smooth, non-porous surface. On tiles, it's possible. You'll need to be careful with the joints, as the hollows at the joints may show through.

For a more aesthetic look, there are two solutions:

    • Smooth the surface with a smoothing compound beforehand
    • Cut tiles to size and reapply a clean grout over them
  • How do I apply adhesive coating in corners?

For a perfectly covered corner, follow our guide: "Successful installation of adhesive coverings in corners".
