ISOL-170i thermal anti-cold film is a concentrate of technologies, for a temperate and bright interior. It's the perfect answer to the need forenergy savings, without overly impacting room brightness.
This thermal insulation film reduces heat loss through glazing in winter by up to 34%! Thanks to its composition of anti-infrared metal particles and low emissivity, heat-conducting rays will be stopped and kept inside your home before they escape through your windows.
By applying this anti-cold film directly to your interior glazing, you reduce your heating consumption and therefore save energy. What's more, you eliminate the "cold walls" effect in winter, which cools the atmosphere even more. The result is a more pleasant temperature inside your home, and a few more degrees of warmth.
Innovation is also to be found in theclear, luminous appearance of this film. The very light silver tint of this anti-cold solar film alters the exterior façade very little. In fact, due to its properties, it naturally displays subtle shades of green and violet. Being virtually transparent, you're protected from the cold without darkening your interior. You can combat heat loss without changing the appearance of your glazing.
Installation precautions: This film is very effective, but also rather fragile. It must be handled with care to avoid damage. Our tip: you can use the protective liner between the film and the flask. This will protect it from scratches.
Care: we recommend dry-cleaning this anti-cold film. You can also apply a silicone seal all around the film.

Well-cut film, clear explanations (the trick of using two pieces of tape to remove the protective film was very useful). Relatively easy to install (a small roll-up curtain got in the way). Now to see how effective it will be in the days to come.

How do I apply window film?
With a little patience and attention to detail, and by following the installation instructions carefully, you can install your window film yourself. For large surfaces (bay windows, for example), we recommend two people.

How many degrees can you gain with heat-shielding film?
It's very difficult to know exactly how many degrees you'll gain. Many factors come into play: the type of insulation in the house, the type of glass, the size of the panes, the surface area of the house, and so on.
In general, you can gain up to 5°C in coolness with an anti-heat film.
Our most effective film, GLASSplus-241x, rejects up to 90% of solar energy. It's an excellent heat barrier to protect your interior.

How do I remove my window film?
Just pull at a gentle angle. If you have electrostatics, it's even easier.

Is the brightness of a room affected by mirror-effect solar film?
Yes and no; it's a fairly subjective criterion.
Technically, the more tinted the film, the greater the impact on room luminosity. A very light film, on the other hand, will have virtually no impact.
On the other hand, your feeling of "loss of brightness" will depend on :
- variations in external light
- your visual acuity
- your expectations in terms of brightness
