Thanks to the magnetic whiteboard coating, transform your walls into a real medium of expression. The installation of this type of velleda adhesive facilitates the work of your employees by allowing them to write, draw and visualise their ideas on the walls of their offices. Thanks to its magnetic function, this film also offers the possibility of using magnets to multiply its uses. Its easy installation means that walls can be covered quickly and without work. 

Important note: This film is to be laid dry. Please note that magnetic films are heavier: we therefore strongly recommend that you lay the film flat 24 hours before application to limit shape memory.

We advise you to clean the board every week if possible with a sponge or a damp cloth to avoid stubborn marks.

    The product is easy to apply, sticks well and the whiteboard side works very well. You can write and erase without leaving a trace. However the magnetic side is very light. I tried to hang a postcard and the magnetic side is not strong enough to hold it with a magnet. This is a real shame.

    We installed the board film as recommended but it didn't hold. The customer service department we contacted advised us to buy primadher extrème. But despite this, the film still won't stick to the wall and, strangely enough, customer service no longer responds when we ask them to return the goods. All in all, 63 euros for a self-adhesive film that doesn't hold, which is very disappointing value for money.

    Hello, If your whiteboard coating won't stick to your surface despite the use of an adhesion primer, this means that the surface on which you're applying the film isn't completely smooth, which prevents the coating from adhering properly. In fact, these films are very heavy and therefore require a perfect bonding surface to hold them in place. As indicated in the product data sheet, we also recommend that once you've received the film, you leave it flat for 24 hours to limit shape memory. Sincerely, the Luminis Films Team

    The board doesn't stick on its own and the product sold with it doesn't stick either. As for the magnet function, it works, but you need thin paper. I regret my purchase because between the price of the product and the shipping costs, it's not worth it.

  • How to install adhesive coating yourself?

  • Can I put adhesive coating on my worktop?

    Yes, it's possible. Our coatings are thick, moisture-resistant and very easy to clean. There are a few precautions to take, such as using trivets. Find out more in our blog post "Can adhesive flooring be installed on a kitchen worktop?"

  • Can the adhesive coating be removed without damaging the furniture underneath?

    You can remove the adhesive coating, but there's always a risk of damaging the surface underneath, as the adhesive is strong. Surfaces such as wallpaper or peeling paint are the most fragile.

    Our tip for removing adhesive coatings:

    • Start from a corner and pull fairly firmly
    • Use a release solution to cancel out the glue's action
    • Use a heat gun: the glue will soften the film and the adhesive. The adhesive coating is much easier to remove.

  • Can adhesive coating be applied to a raised surface?

    Adhesive coatings can be applied to surfaces with relief, such as certain moldings. You need to master the application and thermoforming of the film, and ensure that the relief is not too pronounced.

    If you'd like to give it a try, you can test it with a free sample. Alternatively, you can call in a professional fitter.

  • Can adhesive coating be applied to tiles?

    The adhesive coating can be applied to any smooth, non-porous surface. On tiles, it's possible. You'll need to be careful with the joints, as the hollows at the joints may show through.

    For a more aesthetic look, there are two solutions:

    • Smooth the surface with a smoothing compound beforehand
    • Cut tiles to size and reapply a clean grout over them
