Detailed description

Choose a high-quality adhesive film to cover your walls or furniture. In the twinkling of an eye, this thermoformable imitation wood coating transforms your furniture into new furniture. The advantage of this wood adhesive paper is that it perfectly recreates beech wood. This incredibly realistic wood imitation makes it possible to change the style of decoration quickly.

Thanks to its thickness of 200 microns, this wood effect adhesive film hides the imperfections of the surface you wish to cover. It is quick and easy to install. In addition, the installation of decorative wood coverings does not require major work unlike traditional renovation. This wood adhesive is composed of an adhesive structured in micro-channels that allow air bubbles to be easily evacuated without making folds. This technology is essential for a smooth installation. This multi-surface coating is waterproof and can be installed in a damp room such as a bathroom. The wood effect decorative adhesive offers very good resistance, especially to UV. It is also M1 fire rated.

It is important to note that the grain of the wood runs in the direction of the length of the roll. This means that they can be up to 50 m long.

Dressing your furniture and walls with this adhesive is easy! Thanks to the honeycomb structure of the adhesive, air bubbles can be removed with a felt fluffer without a hitch. You can therefore count on a very quick and easy application of the decorative coating without any work being required. In addition, this adhesive coating is thermoformable. When heated, the adhesive adapts to the surface on which it is applied, and in particular to all the shapes of the furnishings. With the installation of this decorative adhesive, you save on average 50% compared to a classic renovation.

To give your walls or furniture a new lease of life, count on this high-quality vinyl with excellent resistance to water, dirt, abrasion, UV and wear. Thanks to its thickness, this adhesive also hides small imperfections. Rated A+ in the C.O.V. test and M1 in the fire test, this coating can be installed in an open public area.

Durability: 10 years in interior installation (anti-cracking, flaking, delamination and yellowing)

Frequently asked questions

  • How to install adhesive coating yourself?

All the steps and tips to follow can be found in our article "How to install an adhesive coating?"

  • Can I put adhesive coating on my worktop?

Yes, it's possible. Our coatings are thick, moisture-resistant and very easy to clean. There are a few precautions to take, such as using trivets. Find out more in our blog post "Can adhesive flooring be installed on a kitchen worktop?"

  • How do you know which way the pattern will go?

If your film includes a motif, we invite you to view the last image in the photo carousel.

The image explains the direction of the pattern in relation to the roll. You'll be able to enter your dimensions to have the pattern in the direction you want.

  • Can the adhesive coating be removed without damaging the furniture underneath?

You can remove the adhesive coating, but there's always a risk of damaging the surface underneath, as the adhesive is strong. Surfaces such as wallpaper or peeling paint are the most fragile.

Our tip for removing adhesive coatings:

    • Start from a corner and pull fairly firmly
    • Use a release solution to cancel out the glue's action
    • Use a heat gun: the glue will soften the film and the adhesive. The adhesive coating is much easier to remove.
  • Can adhesive coating be applied to a raised surface?

Adhesive coatings can be applied to surfaces with relief, such as certain moldings. You need to master the application and thermoforming of the film, and ensure that the relief is not too pronounced.

If you'd like to give it a try, you can test it with a free sample. Alternatively, you can call in a professional fitter.

  • Can adhesive coating be applied to tiles?

The adhesive coating can be applied to any smooth, non-porous surface. On tiles, it's possible. You'll need to be careful with the joints, as the hollows at the joints may show through.

For a more aesthetic look, there are two solutions:

    • Smooth the surface with a smoothing compound beforehand
    • Cut tiles to size and reapply a clean grout over them
  • How do I apply adhesive coating in corners?

For a perfectly covered corner, follow our guide: "Successful installation of adhesive coverings in corners".
