The advantages of electrostatic window film

This glueless window film holds onto the glass because it is charged with static electricity. This makes the static film extremely easy to apply and impossible to remove.

This repositionable glass film can be applied and removed at will, leaving no residue. This repositionable film becomes a real decorative element with its modern, original designs. Also available as an electrostatic solar film.

How to choose between adhesive and glass-static film?

Here are the questions to ask yourself if you have to choose between these two media:

  • How long will I keep it?

If the answer is yes, it may be better to opt for adhesive film, which is more durable over time. Otherwise, electrostatic is a good option.

  • Does the installation scare me?

The advantage of a glass film is precisely its ability to be repositioned if there's a problem during installation. If you're comfortable or have help, then adhesive may be just the thing for you.

  • Do I need to take my film out and put it back in later?

If that's the case, go for a glass-static backing! If you want to leave it on, go for adhesive without hesitation.
