Detailed description
This 210-micron transparent safety film ensures that your glazing is highly resistant in the event of glass breakage due to vandalism or accident. What's more, it strengthens your glazing at low cost. It resists impact and tearing, and prevents the glass from shattering.
What's more, it complies with class 1B1 of European standard EN 12600, guaranteeing personal safety in the event of an impact on your glazing. So it's ideal if you have a store, business or practice prone to vandalism.
This safety film works thanks to a specially designed adhesive. It absorbs the energy created by the impact of an object or its shockwave. The risk of glass breakage is greatly reduced. Should the pane break, an invisible, resistant membrane holds the broken glass in place. The glazing becomes star-shaped, but remains in place, preserving the safety of people and equipment.
What's more, this 210-micron transparent security film has a special feature not to be overlooked: it's transparent, so it lets a lot of light into your home.
The installation surface must be clean, free of dust, grease or other contaminants. Some materials, such as polycarbonate, may cause bubbles to form, so a compatibility test is recommended.
Durability: 15 years for vertical indoor applications in Central European climates.
