    Very good working order.
The edges have small gaps of glue.

The glue leaves large marks between the film and the glass when fitted. Disappointing and expensive product.

Detailed description

Enjoy a tint that adapts to the sun's rays with photochromic solar film. The tint of this intelligent film changes according to the amount of sunlight it receives. Photochromic window film is the only way to intelligently adjust to outside light. In sunlight, this anti-glare film gradually darkens to give you more comfort inside buildings.

    Thus,
  • When your glazing is exposed to the sun: the photochromic film tints to reduce glare and reject heat
  • When your glazing is not exposed to the sun: the photochromic film keeps its tint very clear to let a maximum of light through

This photochromic film for variable-tint glazing is based on an intuitive nano-ceramic technology that activates in the presence of natural light. As soon as the glazing is no longer exposed to sunlight, the photochromic film returns to its original tint. The visible light transmission varies from 75% to 20% depending on the exposure.

Good to know: glazing with solar film installed indoors can heat up more. To avoid this risk of overheating, we recommend outdoor installation. In addition to limiting the heat on the glazing, this makes the film more effective.

Durability: 2 years

  • How many degrees can you gain with heat-shielding film?

It's very difficult to know exactly how many degrees you'll gain. Many factors come into play: the type of insulation in the house, the type of glass, the size of the panes, the surface area of the house, and so on.

In general, you can gain up to 5°C in coolness with an anti-heat film.

Our most effective film, GLASSplus-241x, rejects up to 90% of solar energy. It's an excellent heat barrier to protect your interior.

  • How do I remove my window film?

Just pull at a gentle angle. If you have electrostatics, it's even easier.
