Detailed description

Give your interior a new lease of life and a touch of greenery with this decorative adhesive coating in light fir imitation wood. This coating adds a realistic touch to your interior.

This adhesive coating in vintage and natural tones is the best alternative to paint. It' s quick and easy to install. Its Airflow glue, also known as "honeycomb glue", prevents the formation of bubbles and/or wrinkles thanks to its micro-channels placed on the adhesive part of the covering. The most important precaution to take is to thoroughly clean the surface where the covering will be applied. This may be a wall or a piece of furniture installed indoors. The surface must be free of dust, residues, grease and other substances. In this way, the adhesive coating will adhere better to the surface. As a result, the durability of the coating will be optimal. This can be as much as 10 years with interior installation.

This adhesive coating is also easy to maintain. Simply use a mild soap ( pH neutral),warm but not boilingwater and a soft cloth. Abrasive solutions, such as ammonia or acetone, should not be used under any circumstances.

Frequently asked questions

  • How to install adhesive coating yourself?

All the steps and tips to follow can be found in our article "How to install an adhesive coating?"

  • Can I put adhesive coating on my worktop?

Yes, it's possible. Our coatings are thick, moisture-resistant and very easy to clean. There are a few precautions to take, such as using trivets. Find out more in our blog post "Can adhesive flooring be installed on a kitchen worktop?"

  • How do you know which way the pattern will go?

If your film includes a motif, we invite you to view the last image in the photo carousel.

The image explains the direction of the pattern in relation to the roll. You'll be able to enter your dimensions to have the pattern in the direction you want.

  • Can the adhesive coating be removed without damaging the furniture underneath?

You can remove the adhesive coating, but there's always a risk of damaging the surface underneath, as the adhesive is strong. Surfaces such as wallpaper or peeling paint are the most fragile.

Our tip for removing adhesive coatings:

    • Start from a corner and pull fairly firmly
    • Use a release solution to cancel out the glue's action
    • Use a heat gun: the glue will soften the film and the adhesive. The adhesive coating is much easier to remove.
  • Can adhesive coating be applied to a raised surface?

Adhesive coatings can be applied to surfaces with relief, such as certain moldings. You need to master the application and thermoforming of the film, and ensure that the relief is not too pronounced.

If you'd like to give it a try, you can test it with a free sample. Alternatively, you can call in a professional fitter.

  • Can adhesive coating be applied to tiles?

The adhesive coating can be applied to any smooth, non-porous surface. On tiles, it's possible. You'll need to be careful with the joints, as the hollows at the joints may show through.

For a more aesthetic look, there are two solutions:

    • Smooth the surface with a smoothing compound beforehand
    • Cut tiles to size and reapply a clean grout over them
  • How do I apply adhesive coating in corners?

For a perfectly covered corner, follow our guide: "Successful installation of adhesive coverings in corners".
