It's like clothes: if you order too big or too small, it doesn't fit! 😉 Make sure the glazing is optimally covered, whether for practical, aesthetic or insulation reasons.

Measure your glazing with the right tools.
To obtain accurate measurements before ordering window film, it's essential to use the right tools.
Use a tape measure rather than a ruler. A tape measure is accurate to the nearest millimetre, which is essential to ensure a perfect fit of the film on your glass, with no cutting errors.
For outdoor installation, measure on the outside.
And for interior installation, be sure to measure the glass on the inside 😉 This is important, as the measurements are not necessarily the same. Always measure height and width to the nearest millimetre.
Important: remove 1 mm from each side to arrive before the joint. This will optimize the fit and anticipate glass expansion.
Conventional wisdom: all glass is the same size.
Contrary to popular belief, not all glazing is exactly the same size.
Even if they look identical, or if you've ordered several panes with the same dimensions, there may be a discrepancy of one or more millimeters.
It's important to check if there's a difference. If not, this will have an impact on the final result of the films applied.
"Help, I've ordered the wrong dimensions!"
If you've ordered a larger size than your glazing, don't panic. You can always re-cut your film.
It's easy: use a ruler or a flask to guide you, and with a sharp cutter, cut your film so as to leave 1 mm between the film and the joint.
If the dimensions you entered are too small, you have 2 options:
- Contact the sales department to place a new order at a preferential rate (you have the right to make a mistake 😊).
- If the gap is not too wide, fill it with silicone sealant.
