Quick and easy installation for a new kitchen

Inesaki had never installed adhesive kitchen wallpaper before. And yet, the result is stunning! Why? Because with a little method and the right tools, anyone can do it 💪

1. Installation materials: your basic kit

To ensure a successful installation, you will need the following equipment:

A squeegee (to smooth out the film);
Isopropyl alcohol (for degreasing);
A sharp utility knife;
A heat gun (or, failing that, a good hair dryer).

👉 These tools ensure a clean installation, without bubbles or creases!

2. Surface preparation: a crucial step

First and foremost, ensure that the surface is smooth, clean, and dry:

Sand if necessary to smooth out any irregularities;
Apply a primer to porous surfaces;
Degrease with isopropyl alcohol;
Wash away marks and dirt withsoapy water;
Dry thoroughly.

Good preparation = long-lasting installation!

3. Application of the adhesive coating

Here's how to apply the film easily:

Peel back approximately 10 cm of the protective liner;
Apply the top of the film, checking the alignment;
Smooth from top to bottom at a 45° angle.
Continue removing the liner as you apply it;
Once everything is in place, make one last, firmer pass with the squeegee.
