How to comply with the ELAN law in our buildings?

ELAN Act

In 2018, the Senate passed the ELAN law, which aims, in the tertiary sector and energy renovation, to significantly reduce the energy consumption of buildings. Luminis Films now supports you in this change and in improving your consumption thanks to its innovative and efficient products.

The objectives of the ELAN law in the tertiary sector :

The first thing to consider is thereference year. For commercial buildings with a surface area of over 1,000m², commissioned before January 1, 2011, energy consumption will have to be reduced by 40% by 2030, 50% by 2040 and 60% by 2050, compared with the reference year of 2010.

This law applies to buildings in the tertiary sector , such as premises, offices, workshops, businesses, etc. If your building was commissioned after 2011, you'll need to comply with the energy consumption standards for new buildings in your category.

You can calculate your final consumption for the year, and obtain a certificate, by making an annual declaration on the government platform before September 30 of each year.
