    Très facile à poser. Le rendu extérieur est joli. J'espère que le rendu "bronze" permettra aux oiseaux de ne pas percuter la fenêtre (c'était ma crainte avec l'effet miroir). Reste à voir si la chaleur est effectivement stoppée et si le film reste aussi facile à poser l'année prochaine, quand il aura été déposé une 1ère fois

    Ayant 2 vélux avec exposition directe du soleil, je suis partie à la recherche d'anti-chaleur pour vélux, car l'été c'est insoutenable tant la chaleur est étouffante et écrasante. J'avais beaucoup d'espoir dans ce produit, mais il a vraiment dépassé mes attentes ! J'ai suivi un conseil que j'ai vu en commentaire, qui était de prendre 2 films pour un vélux (un film à l'intérieur, et un film à l'extérieur). Et ça a considérablement réduit la température ! Nous avons décidé de prendre une découpe sur mesure (qui revenait 20€ plus cher qu'un rouleau) car nous manquons de place et nous n'étions pas à l'aise avec l'idée de faire des découpes. Les films reçus étaient parfaits. Le positionnement des films s'est bien déroulé, il faut de la patience et de la précision, mais le procédé est bien expliqué. Petit conseil : ne pas poser les films lorsque le soleil tappe sur le vélux, car cela va former de petites bulles impossibles à retirer. Vaut mieux le faire lorsque le vélux est ombragé (et ça évite d'être ébloui pendant la pose par la même occasion !). TRUE STORY ! ^^ J'avais également peur de la tenue de ces films qui sont électrostatiques, notamment par temps de pluie... eh bien là encore belle surprise ! Nous avons essuyé un gros orage, et on n'a même pas retrouvé les films par terre ! Alors certes, la pièce est un peu plus sombre une fois les films posés, mais je m'attendais vraiment à pire, d'autant que j'ai posé 2 films pour un vélux. Honnêtement, si comme moi vous avez un étage sous pente fortement exposé au soleil (pour ma part sud/ sud-est), c'est un must-have pour survivre l'été et éviter de déménager la chambre pour dormir sur le carrelage au RDC. Ne vous attendez pas à ce que les films rafraichissent la pièce, ce ne sont pas des climatiseurs, ils vont "juste" éviter que ça chauffe, et ça c'est déjà super ! Et sinon, une rapidité de prise en compte et de livraison de commande qui est impressionnante : j'ai acheté 4 films sur mesure, qui sont arrivés à destination en 3 jours !

Detailed description

The electrostatic bronze film is a high quality product which will allow you to have an effective solar protection, punctual or not. By rejecting 85% of the sun's energy, the installation of solar film allows you to keep your interior cool. The advantage of repositionable film is that it can be installed in summer and removed in winter. In addition to offering a solution against heat, this bronze solar film protects against UV and glare. It is a complete solution for temporary or permanent sun protection.

This repositionable film also creates a one-way mirror effect. It allows you to protect yourself from the other side while still being able to see through it. Please note that this product is slightly cloudy. For extreme clarity, use the adhesive film.

Please pay particular attention to the application side of this film. The electrostatic side is always on the liner side. If you have applied the film on the wrong side, and not the electrostatic side, you may see residues on the glass. If in doubt, don't hesitate to contact us.

This solar film can also be installed on a Velux window.

Good to know: glazing with solar film installed indoors can heat up more. To avoid this risk of overheating, we recommend outdoor installation. In addition to limiting the heat on the glazing, this makes the film more effective.

  • How do I apply window film?

    With a little patience and attention to detail, and by following the installation instructions carefully, you can install your window film yourself. For large surfaces (bay windows, for example), we recommend two people.

  • How many degrees can you gain with heat-shielding film?

    It's very difficult to know exactly how many degrees you'll gain. Many factors come into play: the type of insulation in the house, the type of glass, the size of the panes, the surface area of the house, and so on.

    In general, you can gain up to 5°C in coolness with an anti-heat film.

    Our most effective film, GLASSplus-241x, rejects up to 90% of solar energy. It's an excellent heat barrier to protect your interior.

  • Should metallized film be applied indoors or outdoors?

    We recommend applying a metallized film to the outside of the glass. The film will be more effective, and your glass will be protected from any thermal shock.

    Don't panic: our films are designed to withstand the vagaries of the weather over time.


    If you cannot apply your metallized film on the outside, you can apply it on the inside in the following cases:

    • Non-laminated single glazing
    • Double-glazed windows less than 1.2m² in area


    Good to know: These precautions must be taken to limit the risk of thermal shock, but there is no such thing as 0 risk. Also, there is no contraindication to installing a transparent film on the inside.

  • Which heat-shielding film should I choose for my skylight?

    Exterior installation is highly recommended for velux windows, as they are much more exposed to the sun. We recommend a strong, long-lasting solar film, such as GLASSplus-241x. It will soothe the heat, which is often stifling under roofs.


    If you don't have the option of installing a blind on the outside, consider installing a film blind.

  • Is there such a thing as transparent solar film?

    The most transparent heat protection film we have is 3M transparent Prestige 70 outdoor.


    In very clear films, you'll also love the transparent effect of MULTI-281x, the excellent durability of GLASSplus-242x or the elegant clear champagne look of MULTI-181i.

  • Does heat-shielding film protect against sunlight?

    Yes, indeed, metallized solar films provide protection from the sun by creating a mirror effect.

    If you're in any doubt about which part number to order for your needs, you can contact an advisor directly.

  • How do I remove my window film?

    Just pull at a gentle angle. If you have electrostatics, it's even easier.

  • Is the brightness of a room affected by mirror-effect solar film?

    Yes and no; it's a fairly subjective criterion.

    Technically, the more tinted the film, the greater the impact on room luminosity. A very light film, on the other hand, will have virtually no impact.

    On the other hand, your feeling of "loss of brightness" will depend on :

    • variations in external light
    • your visual acuity
    • your expectations in terms of brightness

    The best way to answer this question is to ask for free samples and test them on your windows! 😉

  • What is thermal shock?

    Thermal shock is a reaction that occurs when there is too great a temperature difference between the glass and the surrounding air. This can cause cracks and damage to your glass.


    Thermal shock can occur, for example, if you apply a dark tinted film to a large area of double-glazed glass on the inside. The glass will overheat, and may break.


    To avoid the risk of thermal shock, we recommend outdoor installation.
