Is it possible to renovate your kitchen without changing the furniture?

The kitchen is often the most renovated room in the house. It's no surprise; it's considered the most convivial and appreciated area by families! And yet, the kitchen budget can quickly soar to over several thousand euros.

We start with the baseboards

To renovate your kitchen without changing the furniture, you need to start with the finishing touches, i.e. the skirting boards. In our example, the original color of the baseboards and fronts is white.

For a modern touch, we chose to cover them in the same color as the kitchen fronts. Our choice: matt duck blue (reference: MAT-2341).

It's easy to apply: just clean and degrease the baseboard, then apply the adhesive a little at a time.

Let's keep the momentum going by following all the installation steps to achieve impeccable results. Click here for our installation tips 😉

For ease of application, we invite you to choose a custom cut. To do this, you'll need to take the height and width of each front panel, adding a surplus for the edges. This way, you'll receive the adhesive cut to the right dimensions: no waste and easier installation!

For the corners, the easiest way is to cut on the bias and fold the sides over. We explain this step in detail in the article here.

It only took half a day to apply the decorative coating to the baseboards and kitchen doors. The result lives up to our expectations: we've got a new kitchen without changing the furniture!

And now you've changed your kitchen front easily and much more cheaply than buying a new one!
