Which solar film should be used on which type of glass?

For increased efficiency, we strongly recommend that you install our heat protection films on the outside.

The solar energy will be rejected before penetrating the glazing and will further reduce the heat transmission through your glazing. The installation of solar film on double glazing: we strongly recommend an outdoor installation to limit the risks of overheating the glazing. The film immediately reflects the heat without even heating the glass. Moreover, the film's efficiency is greatly improved by being installed outside.

Heat-shielding film on double glazing under 1.2m² and single glazing: Interior installation on double glazing under 1.2m² is possible but less effective. An interior installation on untinted single glazing will allow you to reject heat efficiently.

The installation of solar protection film on polycarbonate: you must choose our solar film specially designed for synthetic materials such as Plexiglas or polycarbonate. The film can be installed indoors or outdoors, but the peripheral sealing of the film is mandatory for outdoor installation.
