01

step 01: Prepare your installation

Firstly, clean the frame and the interior glazing of the skylight or window to be fitted thoroughly, then check the dimensions of the film: it must be slightly larger than the window in order to be able to be fixed to the frame using the Velcro fasteners.

02

step 02: Apply the scratches

First apply one side of the scratch pads directly to the outer corners of the film and repeat the process on the inner frame of the mirrored window with the scratch pads already placed on the film so that they stick together. Then remove the protector from both sides of the Velcro and hang them on top of each other, making sure to stretch the film.

03

step 03: Finish the installation

Once installed, your brand new scratch film will stay in place for as long as you like! At the end of the summer, you can remove it if you wish and store it in a clean, dry place for next year!

Successful installation of your adhesive coating

With its thickness, the adhesive coating will be able to cover many non-porous surfaces while masking small roughnesses. However, it is important to ensure that the surface to be covered is properly prepared and that a flask is used.

01

step 01: Prepare your installation

Make sure you have the right equipment for successful installation. The VO216 installation kit installation kit contains everything you need for a successful application! You can also use the isopropyl alcohol solution to thoroughly clean and degrease the surface to be fitted: this step is essential.

02

step 02: Apply the coating to the surface

Make your cuts if necessary and gently begin the dry application of your adhesive using a 45° angle squeegee to remove air. Squeeze firmly from the centre outwards to expel air and bond the coating to the application surface. If you are applying the adhesive to a curved surface, feel free to thermoform it (if possible) using a heat gun. This will soften the coating and make it more pliable so that it will take the desired shape.

03

step 03: Finish the installation

Puncture any bubbles with a small point and tap again to complete the installation.
